Garry's Mod custom map (Source Engine)

A small map I created for a game called Garry's Mod.

While it did technically take February - May for me to finish the map, actual working time is closer to a couple weeks. As I put working on the map on hold for a while.

I'd been playing Mirror's Edge at the time and got the an idea to make a city parkour map. This map has a designated path from A to B, but being a parkour map, there's freedom in player movement. E.g. A player could slide under pipes, vault over them instead, avoid certain obstacles altogether through some movement etc. At the end of the map upon reaching the rooftop pool, there is a little free flow area where the player can just parkour as they please.

While the focus of the map is rooftop parkour, I did also add a little park area and the map is explorable from the groundlevel also. The jumps performed in this map are rather unrealistic, especially compared to Mirror's Edge, but that is mainly due to source engine movement and Garry mod's vanilla movement speed/jumping distance being rather fast/far.

This map is designed with a few handful of parkour/movement mods in mind, and so is unplayable in normal vanilla gameplay.
