Unidentified Flying Ōkami

A short game I created as an entry to a game jam called "Magical girl game jam 5" hosted on itch.io. For this specific run of the game jam, the idea was rather than having a theme that entries revolved around, to make a game that mashes up one genre in a table with another in a different table. I decided to create a shoot 'em up mixed with card mechanics. My main inspiration while working on this were the Touhou games. The name is a play with the UFO acronym but Ōkami meaning wolf, the player character is a wolf girl. I worked on this game solo doing the design, art/animation and programming myself, with the only exception being sounds from a free asset site. Someone liked my character design enough that they did their own rendition of it.
